Thanks for the kind words about the website and blog. The design and implementation of the website was mostly the work of Nicola and Stephen. I only get involved with adding bits into the framework already set up by Stephen.
Now if Andy and Guy can finally leave those pesky SC lads miles behind in their wake. I see that at the last update SC were headed towards Antarctica - so keep up the good work SC.

WELL DONE! CONGRATULATIONS.....Sorry to have not been able to log in for a while, the old shoulder is getting better, but still a little sore. checking your tracker, it seems that you have had quite a hard time with the weather, but I think that Xtina and Claire have better plan their journey to Mauritius very soon or you will get there before them.....keep it up boys, I think that you have already faced the worst part. Good Luck.....
CONGRATS on hitting the half way mark, what an amazing achievement!!
Sorry I've not been active on the blog for some time, but I have certainly been tracking your progress with admiration. So proud of what you've achieved so far, as I know we all are.
I'll second the thanks to all those who are supporting you boys as I know how much is going on behind the scenes, your all doing sterling work!
Be safe and keep up the great work, let's get that second half sorted in record time!!!

Trumpet - I deny all knowledge! Now where's that headband ........
Half way!!! I take my hat off to you both, you are on a level now that most of us will never reach! As someone has already said I couldn't manage a mile!
It must be downhill now to Mauritius, well I hope so anyway.
Looking at the map you look so close to the SC pair! Have you caught sight of them yet?
A whale at 50m sounds a bit scary, but must be a spectacular sight in a rowing boat.
Good luck to you both, I'm sure the second half will fly by!
Ann,John and Boys.
Well done boys for reaching the halfway mark - a real achievement and we are all very proud of you - hope the Ferkins will continue to speedily fly to Mauritius with the wind and tide in a more favourable mood. Love Clive and Andy
Fantastic you have reached the halfway mark, that's awesome. Keep going and you will be in Mauritius before you know it.
Well done
Andy C and family
Hi there guys!! Congratulations on passing the halfway mark!!! Very pleased for you...and to have seen a whale, and so close too. You are very priveleged. They are such wonderful creatures. I have inly seen a mother minke whale and her calf ( in the wild) and they were amazing . It was some years ago now, but we were staying on Mull and went out on a boat to hopefully see some wildlife. We were so lucky. The mum and calf spenta good 1/4 hour or so playing around the boat and swimming underneath and then reappearing the other side. It was a calm evening and made a perfect end to a day. I keep watching your progress and am so proud of you...it takes a lot of courage and guts to do what you are doing!!
Of course, I am watching Sarah too. She has had a frustrating time recently, but hopefully will now be on a red carpet for a while...I hope so...the suspense of waiting for you all to come in safe from the sea is excruciating at times....even though we are all proud of you all!!
Take care, say hello to ant whales for me...I think they are such beautiful creatures!!
HUGZ Helen (Sarah's Mum)
Half way is a completely mental achievement boys - seriously proud, keep those nm's coming! Watts - i did the Barns Green 10k on Sunday as i was home for the weekend, made me think of ya! Del boy - i guess you have heard Ronaldo is on his way to Madrid for £80m? What credit crunch?! Ive planned a monumental night for when you get back by the way - its all taken care of. I'll leave that though with you...yeeeah boy! Much love, Craig x
p.s. “I’ve created an atmosphere where I’m a friend first, boss second. Probably entertainer third.”
Yes boys! Time to get back ahead of SC now I reckon!! Good work. jx
WOO HOO! Nice one lads. It's all go from here.

Great achievement boys, in fact every minute of every days is a great acheievment and everyone up here at MSS are so proud of what you are going through. Let's keep fingers crossed that the second half of the race goes to plan and those seas push you on toward the finish..keep rowing hard, you're both in out thoughts every day.
Mike
So proud to be looking at this blog and to know how many people are supporting Guy and Andy. They are our Hero's.
I watched the Race Day Video last night in this website Gallery ~ amazing ~ powerful ~ emotional and I am in awe of those two ~ they haven't stepped off Flying Ferkins for 60 days and they are still enduring the same pattern each morning as they look out to the Blue and row towards the endless horizon!!
Still knowing they have to do the same mileage again to get themselves into Gunners Quoin Island, North Mauritius to the finish line; and then to climb off Flying Ferkins and to wobble up the beach.
This is pushing their physical and mental capabilities to the absolute limit.
All my love xtina
Absolutely incredible...total admiration of you both for putting yourselves through this and for the amazing support team you have behind you.
Interested to know how much weight you've both lost? You both must be pretty sinewy now? Also- hows the beards doing? Im thinking we've gone way beyond Osama Bin Laden and Bill Odie by now?
PS. Don't forget we're going to see U2 at Wembley on August 15th- you have to be back in time for that!!
Big love,
Neil.
Fantastic news, and was even more delighted to see that you're catching up those other two youngsters - go get 'em! xx
Champion day yesterday...50 miles....it is great to see you on the move and heading Mauritius way! We are all willing you on to that 1000 mile point....congratulations...so proud of you and all your effort and persistance!
I have a brain teaser for you Wattsy.
Sylvain has messed up the FOC3 sample distribution for France. He has not recoreded any decrease in units when making his FCC adjustment from BCTP. On top of all this he has used the BS Fx rate as apose to the P&L Fx rate.
Quite frankly your protege Glenda is struggling & the notes you left are not helping. As I'm sure you will know I need this info double time.
Big Phil
Go on chaps! Only another 1500 miles to go! Beat those SC boys and don't finish last!
Guy- As for the brainteaser - don't they know you are on holiday?! ;-)
Matt
Wow you boys are really getting such fantastic support from some amazing people...truely inspirational....keep going..... I have to say I was a little nervous Guy to see you have been swimming..hope you are always watching behind you...gulp! Kat x
Fantastic support... it must make all the difference - inspiring stuff!
Your battle with SC is reaching epic proportions. First one way, then the next - it reminds me of the 2005 Ashes, or Federer - Nadal, Wimbledon 2008, or Utd v Bayern in the '99 Champs league...
The hand of destiny guideth you...
Much love. X
