Hi Guy and Andrew,
I hope you got our message last week and Andrew a belated Happy Birthday, we were all thinking of you at Orchid.
Just to say you are doing fantastically well in some tough conditions out there and we extend our full support to you, along with our gratitude for the funds you are raising for Orchid. As you are well aware over 37,400 men will be dignosed with a male specific cancer in the next 12 months the moeny you raise from this incredible challenge will help us to save mens lives.
We wish you a safe (and speedy!) rest of voyage boys and cant wait to hear all about it on your return.
Take care
Caz and everyone at Orchid
Hey,
Awesome achievement reaching half way. Well done, well done. I'm going to write a wee article for the County Times tomorrow.
Anything you would like to say to the people of Horsham?
Also, beard update please.

EEEEK help!!!! it was me who added the over and out - please forgive my ignorance in the excitment of all this and I will buy the beers!!!! :-)
Guy's! this is awesome news. Can't believe how quickly you're motoring. As for this whale business, thank god i'm a gardener and only have to contend with the odd squirrel or robin. Keep up the good work guy's. Not long now
WOW what I would give to be seeing whales rather than the inside of a very dull office! how magical they are...hope this gives you a good boost to get to Mauritius. Keep us posted on other spots..in the ocean not on your bums! big love Kxx
Claire,
You're on
catch up at the reunion!
Jem
Hey you guys
Congrats on your progress since I last checked in - awesome! Hope you got mum's blog Guy, it was like crossing the world's third largest ocean in a rowing boat trying to get her online - sorry mum! Really felt for you when you said the currents were pushing you back and then you came back with the shooting star blog, must be some serious mind games going on but you are both clearly psychologically hard as nails! Keep going and catch that other pair!
Love Chris & Ali xxx
Alright lads,
glad to hear you are making good progress. With all the wildlife you are seeing you should do a Sir David Attenbourough type commentry for us on the podcast!
I am wondering what exactly you both look like right now. I imagine it would be something like Tom Hanks out of Castaway. When you get back I will get the good old clippers out although they might start smoking when I set them loose on your hair.
Andy, no exciting football news really but I will keep you updated my man.
That's it from me this fine evening.
Over and out-sorry Jeremy!
Andy C (The Hammer)
Congrats on the halfway - that's awesome! x x
Hi Guys,
Keep up the good work, we're so proud of you both. You've achieved so much. Well done. x
ps: have you seen any mermaids yet? Especially ones that look like me??!!! :o) Take care, my love to you both, George xx
Congratulations!!! Absolutely amazing that you've reached the half way mark! You're both doing so well, I have so much admiration for you both. xx
Fantastic at last half way. After having seen the lads disappear over the horizon in Geraldton I can't wait to see them come over the horizon in Mauritius - keep up this pace and it won't be long..............!
Really pleased that the first half has successfully been completed it has taken huge endurance, patience and courage from Guy and Andy. The constant support from so many sources has been an inspiration to them I am sure. So a big thank you to all contributions from team supporters. sponsers, family and friends. Both boys are a year older and I am sure a lot wiser. Progress this week so far is very impressive with the pairs often achieving distances rowed by the fours. Let's hope for favourable winds and currents to speed them on the final leg to Mauritius. Nigel
Congratulations on the half way mark!!! Amazing work and determination. You're inspirational. Keep it going lads. xx
Bon Jovi:
"Woooaaaaahhh, we're half way there.....wooooo..ohhhh, living on a prayer!"
Can't remember the last time I sung along to that one in a cheesy 80's club in Worcester...can you Moses?
Going to leave it a few more days until I start making competitive noises about winning!
Boys, question about your rowing:
On an effort scale of 1-10 with 1 being almost asleep and 10 being so hard that your eye balls are nearly popping out, how hard would you say you are rowing? Has this changed at all, or does it change with every shift?
Well done on all fronts.
Godspeed!
brilliant job boys - awesome
CONGRATULATIONS
hey Guy and Andy. CONGRATULATIONS !! for making the half way point. Let me tell you, i couldn't have made a mile, so you are certainly doing better :) I am so proud of you guy. For Andy, I know we have only met when your saw me at my birthday meal two years ago, but well done for your achievement and hope we will keep in touch.
