Nice to hear from andy.
In addition, their current speed on SC will put them level in three days. They are happy rowing in quite difficult conditions ATM, pushing ahead well.
All good
Jem
sorry, correction, nine days to be level at this, their slowest speed, it's likely to be earlier
I like reading your progress and what you're up to each day, and can't imagine the emotions you must be going through.
I'm in Geneva at the moment working out here for the week, and one of the best things about coming out here is the food... steak, fish, duck.. and all on company's expenses (sorry Peter!), if I could send you food packages I would - carrier pigeon?!!
Dread to think what the beard's will be like in a few months time - poor Sarah! (make sure you pack the scissors!).
Keep at it boys, everyone is behind you 101%.

Cravings are all in the mind according to Weightwatchers latest advert! So at least we all know you are still of sound mind? I have finally managed to get on to this site & now cannot think of anything more helpful to say. However Guy ,your little niece Amelia, has plenty since she received your birthday present etc. "More, more Uncle Guy" Could mean more rowing or presents, I will leave on that note. Love to you both for now. Rox xx
A lovely surprise to get a phone call from Andrew this morning - he had remembered John and I had been to Malta - the auction bid at the boys leaving party in London - we had a lovely time and spent a lot of it looking over the med - one lot of sea looks pretty much the same doesn't it! Yes it was Mothers Day in Malta too on Sunday and thank you Lina for your best wishes - little do we think what our babies will do one day!!! So to all us Mothers I think we've done a great job enabling our children to fly and really live their lives...................!
Guy,
In awe of you guys...3 weeks. Keeping a close track of you and still on the fundraising trail...getting some nibbles now the markets making everyone feel a little wealthier, so make sure you keep it up....and don't spend the entire day talking about girls (i won't be convinced thats not the main topic of conversation whatever you say)...you've got a race to win.
Your cousin, Mark.
Chris and Sarah's thought for the day.....

been away for a week without computer so great to get back online and get the daily dose to see that you are both well and still going strong, superb that we are at the 3 weeks mark and you are still in touch with those southern cross kid's !!! ...only a matter of time i'm sure !!! Tell me, if you could substitue each other for 1 day, who would you have in the boat, the choice is yours anyone in life past or present ! Careful...others are reading !!!!
Mike
Hey Mike this could be interesting maybe you shouldn't have!!

Aloha chefs
Glad things are going well. I am watching discovery channel programs about fishing in a vague attempt to understand all things seaworthy. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.

Hi there you two! you are making amazing progress, and your tracker was not even updated this morning. So put your head down and row like mad. Roger (who you met in Dongara) rang me last night and will register for your blog, and will give you some news from Geraldton. Roger and his wife are following your tracker religiously everyday.
Guy, I will have an hamburger for you tonight(good excuse for me to have one), and I will make sure that Marcel gets one ready for you when you reach Mauritius. Hope that the weather is good to you soon! Do you get lots of waves that enable you to surf???
Distance behind SC;
Sun - 108
Mon - 92
Tues - 79
Weds - 69
The trend continues...
24 hr speed - SC 24 hours - 1.73kn, FF 2kn - generally 20% quicker since sunday, not that it's a race or anything
New tracker is on board as of yesterday, but not updating yet, we'll see how that goes, it may need resetting
Jem
Yes boys! Mow them down!! You've already got the solo guy. Have it.

Row row row that boat gently down the stream...and get SC guys!! There's a bag of Haribo in it for you!! x
Hi Guys, Sorry not to have logged on before – no excuses other than we were waiting for a password. We have been watching your progress everyday and admire your guts and will power. You really are doing extremely well and wish you success in your bid for a world record. Guy, I (Trish) just remember the day your mother told me she was pregnant, when we were standing waiting for Tom & Chris to come out of Heron Way. Little did she know what you would put her through!! Keep up your efforts and just think of the home coming and rewards at the end of it. Very best wishes from Trish & Roger.
C'mon Ferkins, you are flying now! Reel them in and pass them by.
Attention at home starting to turn from football towards cricket. United play tonight and may win the league by Saturday. England won the 1st test against the W.Indies and the countdown is on for the Ashes (I've got a ticket, ner ner ner ner ner!). C'mon United. C'mon England. C'mon Ferkins!
Planning on doing 2K on the ergo in your honour this morning (waaaa haaaa).
Keep doing what you are doing....it's amazing.
