Lads you are doing amazingly! I'm sure I wasn't the only person who looked more than a little surprised when I heard you were doing this (and thought you may be just a little crazy) but now I can not express how incredible what you are doing is. The blogs are great and keep everyone laughing (though I'm sure you don't feel like it at times). I even confess to shedding a tear or two of total and utter pride when catching up with your progress. (And please let us know how those food cravings are panning out). Your grit and determination is inspirational. KEEP ON ROWING!!!

Clemency, your words capture the feelings of many of us. What they are doing is so ambitious, so brave and so inspirational! Maybe we all need a bit more of that in our lives?

I've heard rumours that your old P.E teacher Mr.Spackman has been sneaked onboard to offer his assistance and expertise, is this true?! Or Mr.Owen maybe, the french teacher, I recall he thought he was an expert at everything! Cauldwell refused to help because he said that Delaney couldnt even open a fire exit when ordered too! I've just returned from attempting my own race around the coast of Africa in a dinghy but I was kidnapped by Somali pirates so that was a bit of a bummer. How are you coping without nights in Bar Vin and Shelleys?! Birdie

Just looked at the video - boy that boat looks small! I'd have been knackered just getting out of the harbour. Well done lads - don't know if the progress is correct but it looks good. Question - how many set of oars do you have on board? Rob
