Hang on a minute Tom, its day 16 and to clarify the current position.......tea tree oil showers, (all over) sun tan, weight loss, daily workout, eat and drink all you want while watching your favourite movies on an I-pod against the back drop of a sun set and shooting stars passing across a silvery moon. Not sure about anyone else but my previous feelings of admiration for the challenge facing the boys are changing ever so slightly! Keep up the good work you two and don't worry, you're not missing much... in fact I think its this end that the real work is being done. Greg In and Out

Greg you've made me laugh so much..... Tea tree oil and nivea, slap a steri strip on your sores, turn up the ipod, wink wink nudge nudge say no more and the thought of a few mermaids or nude angels as they call them out there, pulling in the distance ..... can't be bad. And no Jem i've not been drinking!! xtina out and in

You might not have been drinking Tina, but I certainly have! Man Utd right up there in the European Cup Final ("easy...easy...easy!") Glad to see the boys are rocketing along as well. Trumpet In, out, shaking it all about!

Glad to hear that the boys are able to have a wash and what luxury - tea tree oil soap - can't get much better than that! Still can't stop thinking about what you guys are doing and thought about you both when we got the oars and dinghy out this weekend. Andy and Clive

Most amusing thread today! Give my regards to the merfolk but stay well away from the sirens. Their reputation in ancient greek mythology was less than spotless!! Keep flying!!!

Flying Fish on The Flying Ferkin - how weird is that! Shame you can't eat them, I think they're quite tasty! Looks like it's all going well and to plan so far. We're following your progress every day, but can't really imagine what it must be like out there. Keep rowing and keep thinking about that beer on the beach in Mauritius! Ann, John and Boys.x

David and I have just returned from two weeks touring around rural Spain. Delighted to read about your progress while we were away and almost envious of the spar treatments being lavished on your sun tanned bodies. We spotted a wonderful variety of birds of prey and plenty of other interesting flora and fauna in Spain but have to admit that a flying fish trumps a stork any day! Are you taking lots of photographs? We think of you often and will be logging in regularly from now on. Jill and David

Flying fish giving themselves up! Brian is envious. Pity about the sour apricot crumble. Sounds horrible. Following you daily - my job with my morning cup of tea. Glad all is well. Keep it up. Love B & B.

Andy - you actually wash? Hmmm doesnt sound like the little boy I used to know but I suppose it's a good thing for Guy's sake! Keep going boys, I am very impressed and very proud of what you are doing, am sure I've upset the new boss by spending so much time looking at your progress! Lots of love Kate and all the other Cusacks xxx
